Brian and Sara were recently engaged, and I was so honored when they came to me for their engagement session! This was our very first session together, and it could not have gone better. See for yourself!
To start off our photo shoot, we headed to Appalachian State University since it was such a meaningful place for the couple. Living there was one of the happiest times of Sara’s life!
Since she used to go to school here, Sara knew a lot about the campus. She absolutely loves the mountains, so that’s one reason why they chose this location. The front doors had stunning symmetry, which was perfect for pictures.
There were so many unique locations around campus! Whether it was brick walls or statues, we weren’t short of creative ideas.
As her statement piece, Sara brought these adorable “I do” sandals. So cute! I didn’t even know they made these.
Her ring was also a treasure! We made sure to take plenty of pictures. The flowers were blooming, so we creatively situated the ring on top a blossom for a romantic effect.
Brian and Sara did so well that it felt like they have been modeling all of their lives. Luckily, I’ll get to see them again in November for their wedding! I’m so excited!
Engagement is such a precious time in a couple’s life, and I’m thrilled to document this time for you!
After the photo shoot, Brian and Sara both said that their engagement session was a lot of fun! It was stress-free and relaxed, a perfect peace before the storm of wedding planning.
It was a pleasure to photograph your engagement session! I hope all of your wedding dreams become a reality. See you in November!
